Why IQAL? The story of a name… and a working philosophy

On this land, before the towers were built and the screens were lit, a man was known from afar by a black cord resting atop his head. The iqal. Simple in form, great in meaning. It was never mere ornament; it was a silent declaration of presence. Whoever wore the iqal, straightened up. Whoever straightened up, was respected. And the name itself is from “ʿaqala”: to grasp, to bind, and to master. And from here we chose our name.

First conviction: creativity without discipline… is chaos
